January 2012
See this month's newsletter- January 2nd – New Year’s Day – Belle’s and Beau’s Academy will be closed for the holiday.
- January 16th – Martin Luther King Jr. Day – Belle’s and Beau’s Academy is open.
- January 16th – 20th – Cowboy and Cowgirl Dress-Up Week – Please dress your kids in their best cowboy attire throughout the week.
- January 19th and 20th – Lil’ Angels Photography – Turn in the permission slip if you are interested in having your child’s picture taken. These pictures are in special dress-up clothes brought in by the photographer. There is no obligation to purchase.
- January 23rd – Chinese New Year – Parade through the building starting at 9:30 a.m.
- January 27th – Teddy Bear Picnic – Each child is invited to bring their favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal to share with their friends. Each class will be planning a special lunch for the day. Please see your child’s teacher regarding lunch.
February 2012
See this month's newsletter- February 14th – Valentine’s Day Celebration – Class parties and events throughout the day. Please see your child’s teacher for a schedule of events.
- February 20th – Dentist Visit – Pre-school and up will see a special presentation by West Metro Pediatric Dentistry in the morning.
- February 20th – President’s Day – Belle’s and Beau’s Academy is open.
- February 21st – Mardi Gras – Parade through the building.
- February 27th – March 2nd – Read Across America – Please sign up to read to your child’s class. Each teacher has a sign-up sheet posted in their classroom.
- February 28th – Kindergarten Conferences – Please sign up with Ms. Borden if you are interested in a conference for the second trimester grading period.
March 2012
- March 6th – Kindergarten Open House – Ms. Borden will be holding an informational meeting for those families that are interested in our private Kindergarten program for the 2012 – 2013 school-year.
- March 16th – St. Patrick’s Day – Class parties and events throughout the day. The children will make traps to try to catch the leprechaun.
April 2012
- April 6th – Spring Party – The classrooms will have egg hunts, a special visitor with big ears, and activities throughout the day. Please see your child’s teacher for a schedule of events.
- April 12th – Spring Pictures & Graduation Pictures – Individual and sibling portraits, along with cap and gown pictures for our Kindergarteners will be available. Turn in the permission slip if you are interested in having your child’s picture taken. There is no obligation to purchase.
- April 18th – Pajama Day – Children are invited to wear their pajamas to school for the day. Remember to bring shoes for outside time.
- April 23rd – 27th – Week of the Young Child – There will be special activities happening throughout the building during this week.
- April 30th – May 4th – Teacher Appreciation Week – Please see the front office if you would like more information about your child’s teacher for this special week.
May 2012
- May 3rd – Class Pictures – Each class will have their picture taken on this day. Order forms will be sent home the week prior.
- May 11th – Mother’s Day Tea – All moms, grandmothers, and special ladies in your child’s life are invited to this event. Please ask your child’s teacher for the tea time.
- May 15th – May 22nd – Scholastic Book Fair – Books and other items will be available for purchase during this week. Our school benefits from the Book Fair by receiving books based on the proceeds.
- May 18th – Spring Fling – Our pre-school, pre-kindergarten, and junior kindergarten classes will be performing songs and fingerplays on the patio in the afternoon.
- May 21st – 24th – Parent/Teacher Conferences - Please sign up with your child’s teacher if you are interested in a conference. Conferences are optional.
- May 24th – Kindergarten Conferences - Please sign up with Ms. Borden if you are interested in a conference for the third trimester grading period.
- May 25th – Kindergarten Graduation – Our Kindergarten class will be hosting a graduation ceremony from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend.
- May 28th – Memorial Day – Belle’s and Beau’s Academy is closed.
